The rain stopped long enough for the fireworks to continue! Eric, Lauren, Alex, Chris, and I walked down to Ida Lee to see them.
Eric also had some bottle rockets that we got to shoot off at the house before we left, and those little snap things that you throw on the sidewalk and they BANG! and FLASH! I think you know what I'm talking about.. The fireworks were good as always. They had red stars and hearts with circles around them, and smiley faces. I'm always impressed by fireworks that come out in shapes!

my favorite are the ones that go up and start dancing around in the sky! so cool! i'm glad they weren't cancelled :)
I went to the Ida Lee fireworks too!! We went to a cookout of a friend who lives in downtown historic Leesburg so we walked over from there!
i totally appreciate your fascination with fireworks shapes! i always think that whenever i see fireworks...seriously, the technology that must go into making things explode into a shape is impressive.
