mmm... crock pot

We borrowed a 5-ingredient crock pot recipe book from Maggie and decided to try making fajitas today. I cut up all the peppers last night and this morning we threw it all together before work.
When we got home, the apartment smelled delicious! We have lots of room for improvement, because I'm pretty sure we cooked it too long, but it still tasted all right. Anyone have some good crock pot recipes?

I have a good one! It's chicken and dumplings. peppers aren't too good in a crock pot because they can over cook realllly fast. they're good to add like 20 minutes before you eat.

ok so you need4 skinless boneless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons butter
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 onion, finely diced
2 packages of refrigerated biscuit dough
water to cover
i would also add some black pepper and any other vegetables you like like carrots or peas

so you..
For chicken: place the chicken, butter, soup and onion in crock and fill with water to cover. Turn to high and cook 5-hours or until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink.

For dumplings: about 30 minutes before serving, take apart dough and place biscuits into mixture in crock. the biscuits will turn into the dumplings. test readiness of dumplings by cutting one in half; if the center is cooked the dumplings are ready to eat.

I pulled this offline but my mom makes it all the time and it's delicious!!! good luck! happy crocking!!! haha

A super easy dish I do when I know it will be a crazy day - throw in some chicken breasts, a can of cream of chicken, a can of cream of celery or mushroom whatever you like - or both! And cook the during the day on low. I make some rice and green beans to go with it when I get home. The chicken is super tender and creamy and it's a good comfort meal.
