What kind of car do you drive?

Tomorrow, Chris and I are going car shopping in Richmond. We're not sure whether this is just going to be for research or whether we'll come home with something. After living with only one car for almost a month now, though, we're ready to find something soon! And I'm sure the people helping give us rides would be happy, too...
So, two questions for you:

1. What kind of car do you have?
2. Would you recommend it to us?

We need help! We don't even know whether we want to get a car or a small SUV...so please give some advice if you have any!

Christina has a 2008 Scion XB. Roomy, sporty, reliable, efficient and looks cool. Toyota quality at a low cost. Worth a look.

well you know what kind of car i have (nissan altima). i love it! however, i dont know if you're thinking of future family/etc. needs (since you will probably have it for a while). my only advice is... don't settle for their price! negotiate! be stubborn! talk to mom if you need tips... :)

good luck!

don't buy a new car, you'll save a bundle if it's a couple yrs. old- and more negotiating room! Terry and I play good cop, bad cop. One doesn't want the car, the other is interested, so salesman feels he has a chance but has to negotiate to keep the other spouse happy! It always works! Good luck.

I have a jeep compass and LOVE it. It is in between a car and suv and gets 26-30 mpg.

i would get something that is good in the snow cause you'll prob get more down there! and also my car is a two-door which is pretty annoying so i wouldn't recommend that.

I love my honda CRV. It's a 2006 so we got a great price but the gas mileage isn't as good as the new ones.

I looked at the Subaru Legacy GT before deciding on getting the Challenger. They're nice, the drivetrains are proven, and they're safe....plus they're pretty quick too. Take a look at em.

I didn't realize it had been so long since I read blogs, so perhaps I'm a bit behind the curve here, but I love my CR-V...I like being higher up on the road, and for an SUV, it's not too bad on gas. It's also SUPER low maintenance.
