Captain America walks the main road in Farmville. He is an icon in this town. I'm not sure how long he's been around, but at least over 15 years because there are staff members at the college who remember him being around when they were undergrads. He often carries an American flag with him, or sometimes you can catch him with a Confederate flag. I've been told never to stop and chat because he will talk your ear off!
