Snowy

As you all know, we had a snow storm this past weekend. We got about a foot of snow Friday night through Saturday night. That didn't stop the games from happening, but it did inhibit our driving abilities. Chris and I don't have a snow shovel, and Lowe's was sold out, so we finally found someone with a shovel we could borrow and dug the car out after work today.

The snow was really pretty while it was coming down.

Now it's starting to melt and already our yard is turning into a mud pit :)

We've put towels out in our front hallway to catch the slush and mud as we come in the front door.

On another note, the house across the street from us is also shedding its snow. The snow is slowly sliding off the roof in a sheet. I don't understand how that's possible, but it's happening:

We were told to expect a "wintry mix" tomorrow, and possibly another storm this upcoming weekend. We'll  see whether that happens or not - but we've already gotten more snow this winter than is typical. It's been cold!

I've never seen the snow come off a roof like that! Your house looks beautiful with snow. I love your new tree picture!
