Chapel Hill

While we live in central Virginia we really want to take advantage of our location.  I know Farmville may not be a happening town all the time, but it really is in the center of everything.  We have family and friends to the north and south, friends to the east and west.  We can drive an hour or two in almost any direction and see a new city or town or visit different friends.

This weekend we went to visit my sister-in-law, Erika, in North Carolina.  We've been to UNC for basketball games before, but have never gotten a tour of campus or seen Erika's house.  It was really fun!
We started out by getting some lunch and then getting a tour from Erika.  She was an awesome tour guide and has some experience due to leading summer tours.  The campus is huge compared to where we went to school - but definitely a great atmosphere.  Chapel Hill is definitely a college town, but so cute!  I'd love to spend more time there or live there one day (hint, hint, Chris!).

After seeing campus we headed over to UNC's botanical gardens where we found this sweet throne:
Do we look like King William and Queen Mary, or what? Hah..

I can't believe it! I was hoping to visit the botanical gardens on my "recently planned but had to cancel" trip to Chapel Hill. I think Roy needs Chris...

Hey...Coach Williams is getting on in years. They might be looking for a replacement soon!
