There's this old building in town that kind of looks like a wrecking ball has just come through and knocked the front half of it down:
It's pretty cool. And I always wondered what it was - whether it was abandoned or in use.
And then the other weekend I found out. It's a theater! There's a big lawn in front of it where people come out and sit, and they play movies and put on performances there. I'm not sure how often this happens because I've only seen it once, but you better believe I'm going to be on the lookout for the next time this thing is in use. I love outdoor movies (and generally anything outdoors). Too bad I didn't figure all this out before it already began to grow cold out for the season.

I wonder whether the screen was there first or the building came down first?? Cool use of the space though!
that building is awesome! keep me updated on outdoor events there as you hear about them!
So interesting! Let us know if you attend one of the screenings or events.
screen on the green farmville style! you'll have to let us know if you go see anything there!
i hope you can catch an outdoor movie sometime! I saw an outdoor screening of "Up" recently and it definitely brought back good screen on the green memories.
outdoor movies are my favorite thing to do in the summer!!! this looks like a perfect spot for them!
