We picked up our tree the week we got home after Thanksgiving. I made Chris unwrap it outside because those needles get everywhere while you're trying to pull that netting off! Unfortunately, I forgot that they also get everywhere when you're trying to navigate the tree through the door frame. We vacuumed twice that night :)
I love that our apartment smells like pine every time I walk inside! I'm also loving watching Christmas-themed movies by the glow of our Christmas tree!
At work I was given a poinsettia by a friend - and this is the biggest poinsettia I've ever seen. It is at least three times the size of the one I had last year...not that I'm complaining - it's beautiful!
Anyway, I love having all the little Christmas decorations out and around the house. It makes everything so festive! We even headed over to Richmond this weekend, and although the main purpose was to catch the Tribe v. VCU game, we also got to see a bit of the Richmond Christmas parade. If you didn't hear about what happened, you should definitely watch
this video...
