Switching gears

I have not mentioned this yet on the land of the internet, but this is my LAST week of work! In fact, it's my last couple days of work (or as Chris informed me this morning, it's my penultimate day of work! Yeah, look it up if you need to - when would you ever need that word??). I am sad to be leaving this job because I have loved it - I've loved working with college students (a stage of life very near and dear to my heart), and especially with students going abroad. I love to travel and it has been a blast hearing about and helping plan their adventures these last two years, especially when they decide to spend their year or semester in Freiburg where I studied. I just get a little ache in my chest thinking about going back there someday! I will certainly miss this place, but it is time to move on.
(Building I work in)

As you all must be very aware by now, we are on our third place together in the less than three years we've been married. I imagine we'll stay put here at least one more year (...I hope I don't eat my words here in a couple months!), but if the past is any indication of the future, then regardless of our plans, we really have no idea what we'll be doing a year, two years, five years from now. Therefore, I'm looking for something a little more flexible.

For that and many other reasons, as much as I have enjoyed what I've been doing the last couple years, I'm switching gears to nursing. I start an accelerated program on Monday in Richmond - so if you live in the capital of of our Commonwealth, I could be seeing you more often :)
