Texas, the second half

After Dallas, we headed south to Austin to meet up with friends for the wedding. We all rented a little house together in downtown Austin so that we'd be able to walk around town and explore a bit, though we ended up not having much time to do that while we were there. It was still much more fun to stay in a house than a hotel room, though, so we were glad we did it. The wedding was wonderful, the bride was gorgeous and we were all so happy to be able to celebrate her big day with her. They also served ribs at the wedding, and all the guys at our table took off their jackets, rolled their sleeves up, and went to town. They were delicious.

On the way to the airport the next day, we stopped at In-N-Out (I didn't know they were in Texas) for lunch. I haven't been since I was in California last summer, so it was a treat :)

It really was great to get to spend time with both friends and family on this trip and I'm really thankful we got the opportunity to go last week. I'm also thankful to be back in my bed this week getting decent amounts of sleep again :)
