Week 40

Well, we made it to the due date! If I am still pregnant at 41 weeks we'll have to do another ultrasound to check fluid levels and an NST, but for now we are in the clear to just wait on this baby's timing. Chris' mom is picking up the last of the furniture we need for the baby's room and will be bringing it down when she comes down for the baby's arrival. I know some people tend to get everything ready way in advance but I guess that is just not our style since that obviously didn't happen...hah!

The doctor and nurse this morning asked if I felt any different, which I think is a fairly silly question. It's like asking people if they feel older on the morning of their birthday. Not sure about you, but I never do! We are both pretty patient people and I will just be happy if the baby comes on his/her own and I don't need to be induced. I really can't even picture that there will be a baby in this house because it's been so contained (in my belly) up until now. We will certainly be in for an eye-opening experience here soon!
