Birthday party fun

We went to a friend's first birthday party last week and it was a farm theme, which Eleanor loves. They had a little puppet show area and Eleanor kept grabbing animal puppets and sticking them out singing, "E-I-E-I-O" to anyone who would listen to her.

I love kids' birthday parties because it gives all the grown-ups a chance to get together and hang out while the kids are occupied. I will mourn the day that our kids end up having kids-only parties!

We were mostly without incident until someone else got to hold "baby Jane" instead of Eleanor. She kept dancing around with her arms out saying, "I hold her! I hold her!"

I'm just glad they seem to like each other :)
