Charter Day weekend

February has started out as a very calm month for us but it is quickly picking up steam. This past weekend was Charter Day weekend at William & Mary (Happy 324th birthday!) and also the annual Gold Rush game, which is a game that tries to encourage everyone to come and wear gold to support the Tribe. Chris was pretty busy Friday and Saturday but we also had a friend's first birthday party to go to, so we stayed busy, too. Their theme happened also to relate to basketball, so it was a very basketball-filled weekend for us. Jane was surprisingly very into basketball, something Eleanor has not shown a ton of interest in playing so far. She spent almost the entire party at the hoops.

From there we headed straight to a basketball alumni gathering before the big game. The girls obviously didn't care and were "drawing up plays" on the board in the room.

From there we headed straight to the game, which was a great game. We won! Jane, having had to skip her nap, lost her mind about half way through before promptly passing out. Needless to say it was a very early bed time that night.

Love jane's pigtails and so cute to see her sleeping at the game. Great job on Charter Day, Chris...go Tribe!!
