Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter. We celebrated quite a bit the week leading up to Easter Sunday. Eleanor had an egg hunt at school on Tuesday, then her pageant on Thursday.

We also did an egg hunt with friends Wednesday afternoon after school.

Gaby came down to visit and make Easter cookies with the girls.

She also brought some fun bunny ears for the kids to play with!

We had another egg hunt with our neighborhood on Saturday (they hid 700 eggs for about 30 kids! And had cookies to decorate and crafts to make!) and then another egg hunt with friends Saturday afternoon at a friend's 1st birthday party.

We dyed Easter eggs and made Easter tombs.

On Easter we went to church and then over to Coach Anne's house for an Easter lunch. The kids all got to do yet another egg hunt, the food was delicious, and the babies were held almost the entire time by someone other than me!

And finally, we had one last egg hunt while we were up visiting Grandma over spring break (more on this soon). These girls were so into finding eggs this year. It didn't matter how many they got or what was in them, it was all about the excitement of the hunt. I think we will be playing "egg hunt" a lot this year - they love it!!

Happy Easter! This year was one of our favorites!

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who in God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."

- 1 Peter 1:3-5

Wow that's a lot of egg hunts! I'm surprised they weren't tired of them by the end of the week. Such a fun week of celebrating!
