Our small group has started meeting using Zoom and Marco Polo, even having game nights together.
We've even done some facetiming and zooming with family...and my college roommates.
We're playing outside quite a bit.
Ben and Rosie have started enjoying bath time more.
Dress up time.
I found this picture from the days (this month!!) where going to public stores with children was acceptable. So weird that this would be a disturbing sight now...
Chris has gotten beer delivered from VBC now that going to stores is not considered a normal activity.
Here are a couple of Eleanor's school assignments from when she was attending school. She created a Marmacorn and said if she were president she'd have coffee from her hair to toe, haha!
We ran into Eleanor's bus driver from last year at the grocery store earlier this month.
Jane wrote that she wanted to be a nurse when she grows up...though that may change after this pandemic.
And here are a few videos from the month to enjoy. Ben singing wheels on the bus.
Rosie and Ben sing the ABCs.
Rosie sings snippets from Frozen II songs.
Hide and Seek with Ben and Rosie.
New reality: church at home with VBS songs.
I had the girls ride their bikes to Jamestown Beach - almost 4 miles each way! On the way home, Ben fell asleep.
We've had lots of picnic lunches outside.
We've started doing some yardwork, like aerating, fertilizing, etc. It's been a challenge with Chris on one leg! He's been using this car as a transport vehicle for yard stuff.
We've done lots of chalk.
Eleanor's school had a honk parade on Friday afternoon. It was so sweet and Eleanor was able to see her teacher from afar. There were between 50 and 60 cars and it was so nice.
I'm sure April will be just as challenging, and even more so as our country faces new restrictions and realities. All of the digital interaction with people has not been my favorite and I can't help but think what the long term impact of this will be.
