Awhile ago, Chris's sister had planned to fly out from Colorado so that everyone could meet her baby Tessa (my niece!). With COVID, we were unsure it was going to happen, but thankfully she felt comfortable enough to make the effort before things get too bad again. We had everyone except her husband, Jonathan, with us, and it was so nice to see everyone. Plus our kids finally got to meet their cousin, which they were so, so excited about.
Eleanor was in heaven.
Ben was also very entranced. He kept pointing at her saying, "That like a baby!"
Everyone came with us down to the marina to watch the Fool's Regatta - a neighborhood event that happens every August. Despite the extreme heat, it was still very entertaining to watch!
Some of the boats didn't make it the whole course...
We also did a craft beer tasting. Henry, Rob, and (other) Erika's beers were the favorites.
It was busy, but so nice to see everyone for the weekend.
The kid dinner table:
Jane wanted to hold Tessa but then gladly gave her up because "she feels a little heavy."
We ended the second evening at Bruster's for dinner.
First cousins picture!
We are so thankful we got to spend so much time with Tessa! She was so happy and sweet.
Erika, thank you so much for braving the airports and travelling with her to share with everyone!

Oh my what a cutie and so glad you all got to spend time together. Looks like so much fun! That last picture and the ice cream shots...so adorable!
Wow, I am continually awed at what normal looks like! Thanks for the pics of what we used to do!
