One of the perks of homeschooling has been the relaxed schedule. I have calendars for the girls that we generally stick to pretty closely. We are working a little bit ahead so that we have flexibility in our schedule and that we can finish our work for the year by Memorial Day. But honestly, the flexibility really can't be beat! The other day we were playing outside with our neighbors (we have neighbors that also have 2 year old boy/girl twins!) and we all decided to go hike on the Greensprings Trail. Since we didn't have to actually start school at any given point, we were took advantage of the great weather and went!
We have done lots of schedule rearranging based off weather and it has been wonderful.
