Quiet weekends

We really haven't been doing much this month - COVID cases have surged in our area, affecting many of our close friends this time around. Our library closed back down so we can't even run in to pick up holds, but instead have to schedule a pick up. Some positives though are that since none of the kids are in school, they're all playing outside for hours every afternoon. The doorbell rings between 1 and 2 pm and then the kids head out until dinner. There are even two new kids that moved in this past week onto our street.

We also finally took our Christmas tree down. This was the first year we had ever done a fake tree so we were able to leave it up a lot longer than in previous years. We had taken all other decorations down but were really enjoying the ambiance of the tree in the evenings. The kids took our popcorn and cranberry string outside for the birds.

We've been snuggling around the house in comfy clothes and taking naps.

And Grandma even read a story to the twins on video.

Auntie Ashleigh also came to visit and we celebrated her passing her NCLEX and becoming an RN.

Always hate taking the tree down because I love the ambience of the lights! Thanks for being so good to Ashleigh!!
