Florida - Celebration, Disney Springs, and Kissimmee

On Saturday afternoon we met my mom (coming form the airport) in Celebration - a town nearby that Disney used to own. It was great to see it. The whole time we walked through it felt very much like Pleasantville, though. We were glad to have seen it and visited. It was so well maintained!

On Tuesday we checked out Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney). It was basically like a giant shopping mall, but the kids loved checking out the boat-cars that drove around the lake, the giant balloon, and the lego creations outside the Lego store.

On Wednesday we headed to Kissimmee to check out another local town. The girls scootered around, played at the park, and got some sunshine.

All of these outings were half day trips and then we headed back to the pool and/or golfing. Besides the sunshine, we also truly enjoyed all the Spanish moss growing from the trees! It really was quite beautiful, especially when we knew the weather at home was so poor.
