Snow and sledding

We were supposed to get a fair amount of snow last weekend, so school ended early on Thursday and then was cancelled Friday. It all started out as just a lot of rain, though.

Honestly, the snow came in after school would have been over Friday, but whatever, the kids were happy to be off for awhile. We all bundled up and went sledding in a few of the backyards that slope down toward the creek. 

Later that afternoon, the kids did some tarp sledding in the front yard.

Church on Sunday was cold but we bundled up and the kids built snowmen during the sermon!
