Jane's birthday

The week before Jane's birthday Grandma came down to take Jane out on a shopping trip like she did with Eleanor. Jane was so excited! Grandma even brought a butterfly cake with her. Jane had such a great time trying on and picking out her own clothes and even got to go to Chick-fil-A for dinner. Thank you Grandma!!

When her birthday rolled around, the excitement could not be contained. She even made a chain countdown for the month of September where she cut off a loop every day. Last pictures with our 6 year old...

And then she was 7!

She followed her birthday string in the morning.

She opened her presents...

And then headed to breakfast with Dad. Chick-fil-A even threw a birthday cookie into her bag for her!

She headed off to school and then when she got home it was time for dinner (she picked mac and cheese) and cake! She wanted a strawberry cake with chocolate icing (but only a tiny bit of icing because she doesn't really like it).

Then, for her party, she went with two friends to the W&M women's soccer game. They gave her a swag bag and wished her a happy birthday at half time. They also got to buy whatever concessions they wanted!

She had such a great time! Happy birthday, Janer!!
