Ben and Rosie's birthday

Ben and Rosie were SO excited for their birthday this year. They had been talking about it for weeks and counting down. We actually planned their birthday very last minute (about 3 days in advance) because we were heading up to grandma's house for the night for a Harry Potter experience (more about this soon). So the twins got to have a sweet celebration with grandma the day before their birthday!

Their birthday dawned bright and early with their birthday strings!

They got some fun things this year included sleeping bags and piggy banks!

Then they got dressed and Chris took them out to breakfast and to the park.

We brought cookies to their class to celebrate (this picture below was actually from their preschool celebration the next day - Rosie's prayer buddy brought her a gift). After school Coach Anne took them out to lunch and to Target to pick out a birthday present. They loved it!

They came home and we had a cookie decorating birthday party with their friends, neighbors, and cousins in the backyard.

Then it was time for friends to go home...but uncles were able to join us after works so that we could do dinner and cake together! Ben and Rosie requested spaghetti and meatballs for their dinner and were very specific about their cake (see the video).
