Christmas Parade

Eleanor and Jane had to opportunity to walk in the Christmas parade this year! Pre-covid the Christmas parade was always on a Saturday morning. They changed it to the evening last year and we missed it last year, so this is the first year we've done the night parade and it was magical. There were so many lights and fun things to see!

The younger siblings watched with the parents while the older kids walked. They had fun, too.

We saw carolers in Colonial Williamsburg while we were waiting.

Then we lined up for the show!

There were so many great floats.

It wouldn't be Williamsburg without the fife and drummers.

The big girls followed the Naval Shipyard float, which was awesome.

In addition, we saw a live cow, Dominion Power's float was lit up amazingly, antique cars, several grinches (much to Rosie's delight), and just lots of creativity. We had some tired kiddos when all was said and done, though.
