Last weekend we went to Grand Illumination - one of my favorite holiday events every year. It used to be a smaller thing, but still lovely, but now it happens three times in December and is a big thing. It was a chilly, but not too cold night. We bundled up and gave the kids hot chocolate and headed down to CW.
The fireworks were amazing.
We saw carolers, a capella groups, fife and drummers, dance circles, and enjoyed the cressetts.

Looks a lot more crowded than the prior weekend...maybe the rain on our weekend kept some away. What a wonderful event and tradition!
