Live Nativity

Eleanor and Jane decided they wanted to be in the live nativity at church this year and the three of us ended up getting assigned to be angels. It was quite cold, but we had a good time. They loved the serving opportunity the first 6ish times through, and then when they realized they were going to have to keep repeating the scene another 20ish times, they were a little less excited, but still had great attitudes and smiles on their faces.

This was part of our scene...and I believe there were 6 scenes total to tell the story of Christ's birth.

Then at our small group Christmas meeting, the kids put on a Christmas Pageant. This was the first year they've ever done something like this and there were some tears, but overall they did a great job.

Eleanor was Mary and a narrator, Jane was a shepherd and a narrator, Rosie was an angel, and Ben was a wise man.

Lastly, Ben and Rosie had a preschool chapel. They invited parents to come watch. They recited a scripture verse, a poem, and then sang the Little Drummer Boy.

Merry Christmas!
