Texas

I was able to go visit my grandparents in Texas this month! I was so thrilled to be able to go see them. They had come out to visit in October the year before last, but I knew they wouldn't be able to get out here any time soon, so was looking forward to heading their direction.

At the Halls of Montezuma...

My grandpa told us tons of his old stories, including about the planes he flew and reconnaissance photos he took during the Vietnam War...

We went out to eat at Tele's and Mario's, and we got to check out an amazing shop/bookstore that had books for 40 cents!

We completed a 1,000 piece puzzle in just 7 hours...

And we just got to enjoy time together and talk.

I visited the pet cemetery - home of Junior, my childhood cat!

Enjoyed the views of the lake...aptly enough titled Lake Greenbriar (our street name).

We got out for a golf cart ride on a new cart, exploring the neighborhood and the little park around the corner from their house!

I got to see tons of pictures and hear so much family history. It was amazing.

We made some rice krispie treats...

And just had a great time visiting. Thank you so much for letting us come!
