Memorial Day

Memorial Day weekend was the only weekend in the month of May that we didn't have visitors or plans! We were actually looking forward to a relaxing time; however, rain and cold weather wasn't exactly what I had in mind. The pool was freezing or closed due to weather for much of the weekend, as was Water Country. We did get to go to Busch Gardens, which was a surprising success because we got in and out early enough. Eleanor got to ride Tempesto for the first time (the only reason she hadn't been on is because neither Chris nor I like this one). Rosie and Jane also rode Escape From Pompeii for the first time, and Jane rode the Battering Ram (which previously she wouldn't).

Our neighborhood was supposed to do a Memorial Day picnic but it got cancelled due to weather. We ended up doing a picnic with our small group the next night.
