February was cold and still lacked snow. I think we are all ready for spring now that winter was a bit of a bust for the second or third year in a row. It was full of basketball, school, and too much time indoors!
Eleanor is now on the safety patrol at school.
Gaby came down to visit and got to see some basketball games.
Eleanor started cotillion with her friend Hannah.
I got to go up to Northern Virginia without kids to celebrate Eric's 40th birthday! We did an escape room, hibachi dinner, and got to play cards and relax together without interruption!
Jane got to go out to eat with friends for one of their birthdays.
Rosie has been trying to teach herself piano.
Rosie and Ben celebrated 100 days of school! Rosie had 100 hearts on her shirt, and Ben had 100 buttons.
Eleanor got to go to a mystery party where they all solved a case together.
I found this sweet note Ben wrote to his teacher. Here's what he said: "Thank you for being my teacher. I love you. Give me more math. I know times. Thank you. Love Ben. To Miss Forgit." (Obviously the spelling is his own.)
We had a fun family game night. We played Clue and Hues and Cues.
Jane has still been doing her face painting.
Jane got to go to a sleepover with friends one night so we had the other girls stay over at our place. It was a late night.
Grandma also came down for the weekend to watch Bonnie and Riser and we met them at Ben and Rosie's basketball games. Then we went to grab lunch afterwards.
Some play time at the park!
Onward to March!
