Eleanor last year was the alternate for her school's Battle of the Books team and this year she made the team! The competition was this week at the regional library. Her team has not made it into the final round in years. There were 12 elementary schools competing.
At the end of the first round, there were two teams that had made it to the final and a 4-way tie for third place. Eleanor's team won the 4-way tie to come in as the third team in finals.
In the finals, their team ended up tying for 2nd place, the final score being 11-10-10. It was so close!! We are so proud of her!
