From the National Gallery, we grabbed our lunch and walked through the Sculpture Garden.
Something that looked like spaghetti...Rosie's favorite food.
And a weirdly deceptive house sculpture...
From there we headed into the National Archives to see some of our country's founding documents.
We saw the Declaration of Independence...
The Constitution...
And the Bill of Rights...
All of these documents were located in the Rotunda, which was beautiful in itself.
And then we headed into the American History Museum to see a few things we didn't hit last time...like Abraham Lincoln's hat that he wore the night he was assassinated.
We saw the flag that inspired the National Anthem during the War of 1812.
And part of the Berlin Wall...
We did a brief stop in the Natural History Museum:
From there we attempted to hit the Tidal Basin but were re-routed into Arlington, so we bailed on that plan.
We did go to Arlington National Cemetery though to visit Papa Laser.
It was a very busy and full day, and Gaby cooked for us the entire time we were visiting! Thank you, Gaby!
