k-strat: More Lacrosse

Lacrosse season is now over! It was fast and furious and the kids had a great time.

Playing Sister-Sister on the sidelines:

Eleanor as goalie - she actually did a pretty decent job when she played.

We ran into Bonnie at her soccer practice one day!

Our 7U Warrior girls...my friend Alex and I coached this team this year. We had 11 girls, 9 of whom were new. They really improved quite a bit and by the end of the season, we weren't bad! Rosie was a superstar.

Our 7U Warrior boys - this team was utter chaos all the time. Ben didn't love the physicality of the sport at this age. He didn't want to check anyone and didn't like getting checked. He vacillated between saying he didn't want to play next year and saying he does. We'll see when next year rolls around.

Our 9U Warrior girls - this team was amazing. They won several of their games by double digits and Jane was an MVP for sure. Jane pretty much exclusively played midfield this year unless she had scored too much and then they would make her sit out or only go in on defense.

And our 11U Warrior girls. This team had so many girls they had to split into two teams which diluted their talent a bit. They still had a great season and Eleanor really found her stride as a defender this year. She still played all the positions, but really excelled on defense.
