One of the reasons we headed out west this year was to celebrate the marriage of my cousin's daughter, who 16 years ago was one of the flower girls in our wedding! We had such a great time seeing her embark on her new life with her husband and seeing lots of California family, most of whom I hadn't seen since Lauren's wedding, and several of whom had not met our kids (or at least some of them).
They had a lovely welcome dinner on Friday and the kids were very excited to see people. Heather had very thoughtfully made welcome bags for everyone who attended and the kids were especially excited about that.
There was also some line dancing, which Eleanor and Jane were very into and Rosie tried very hard to keep up with!
The wedding itself took place in Bridger-Teton National Forest and you had to take a bus to get there. We weren't sure there would be enough space on the buses and with no bathrooms and a long journey, my mom and I decided to go solo and let Chris take the kids on an adventure. It was truly breathtaking!
The kids had a blast dancing and celebrating with everyone. A huge congratulations to the bride and groom! And to my cousin who crafted this amazing wedding from across the country, great job and thank you for including us!

Oh my goodness, everything about this wedding is spectacular! Love all the boots, the line dancing and ALL the dancing. Loved seeing the kids have so much fun. Special family memories for sure (worth keeping out of school!!!)
