Eleanor's birthday

Of course I had to take one last picture with my ten year old before Eleanor aged up! I spent the evening while she was at volleyball try outs wrapping some presents with Ben and Rosie.

Eleanor had a great birthday! It started out with waking up to balloons and following the birthday string.

Then Chris took her out to breakfast at Duck Donuts.

From there they came home and I took the kids out to play putt-putt at Pirate's Cove and then to Baskin Robbins.

From there we headed home to have an early dinner - around 2 pm! We had open house at the elementary school at 4 and Eleanor had volleyball tryouts at 5 and wouldn't be home until after 8 so we wanted to make sure to have a family dinner. We had ribs and corn per her request.

Then we celebrated with cake! Her pick - chocolate and chocolate with raspberries on top.

From there we headed off to the elementary school open house and Eleanor headed off to middle school volleyball try outs where she made the team! The next night in lieu of a party, I took Eleanor and Hannah out to get manicures and pedicures and then out to dinner at Brickhouse Tavern. It was so much fun!
