October wrap-up

October is always such a beautiful month! The weather finally starts to get cooler but is still amazing outside. We've spent lots of time enjoying it before we need to start bundling.

Jane has spent a lot of time playing soccer.

We celebrated Matty's birthday!

Jane was invited to be a VIP guest at An Occassion for the Arts for donating money for her birthday.

Beautiful rainbow on the soccer fields one night.

Rosie made Jacob's ladder for the first time.

The northern lights were visible all the way down here in Virginia one night! This is the first I had ever seen of them! The last picture is a neighbor's picture who had walked down to the marina.

Matoaka Walk-a-Thon day at school:

Roller blading with friends.

Jane crocheted her first octopus:

Twin day at school! Actually it was a Taylor Swift-themed spirit week and I believe this day was "It's Nice to Have a Friend" day. I had to bribe Rosie to twin with Ben. He really wanted a buddy!

Jane's class earned the most money and got a visit from the Cardinal!

We did a firepit in the back yard with friends.

The weather for outside church has been lovely.

We had an Operations picnic at church and the kids got to participate in some games.

Snuggly blanket monsters:

We had rewards at Busch Gardens and the kids ended up dipping candles and getting ice cream.

Jane has been jogging to church on Sundays.

Jesse and Rachael came to visit!

It has been a great month and the weather toward the end of this month has been amazing; chilly in the morning but in the afternoon you don't have to wear a jacket yet. The leaves are starting to change and everything is starting to look beautiful. I can't wait for more fall weather!
