Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we headed up to Round Hill to spend time with my family. My mom and Dave are moving to Williamsburg in the New Year so it was nice to spend time with them in their gorgeous house before they started packing it up.

We had lots of time cozy in the house...

We played outside and walked around on the property.

We played lots of games.

We had lots of cousin time!

And lots of good family time!

We, of course, had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Dave smoked the turkey.

And we even had a birthday celebration for the November birthdays.

One afternoon we headed out to Leesburg to meet up with Chris' mom and we explored my old stomping grounds. My house growing up:

My elementary school:

My high school:

Gaby was very grateful to see the grandkids, and we spent time playing at Foxridge Park, where I used to have soccer and softball practice when I was a kid.

We ran the bases:

We spun in a chair!

And we played on the swings.

Back and Grandma's we went over to her neighbor Mary's and picked up Sweet Gum balls. She paid the kids for their hard work!

Then on Saturday it was time to head home. We will miss the rolling hills of western Loudoun!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

More soon on our trip to Harper's Ferry and field goal kicking!
