June wrap-up

June was the end of the school year and the beginning of what hopefully will be a decent summer routine. The girls were gone at camp for awhile so we had some solo time with the twins. Swim is in full swing. We had pretty cool (for June) and rainy weather for the first part of the month and then a heat wave came through and still seems to be lingering.

We had a picnic to celebrate operations volunteers at church. It was fun for the kids because there was a pinata!

Jane made a brain hat in Visions:

Rosie caught a baby frog.

The neighbor's chickens had to be chased out of our yard... not thrilled about that one.

We did a "learn to row" day.

Treats and rainbows at the pool for a neighbor's graduation party...

Ben's been playing the drums after church and can keep a pretty steady beat.

We played down at the marina one day.

Chris went to a LIV golf tournament with friends one day.

Jane brought a million sticks in to school one day to teach her friends how to play lacrosse.

We're growing raspberries!

Papa Laser's hat!

Gaby moved down to Williamsburg and we went over one evening to "help" and eat pizza!

Happy Father's Day to Chris! We had friends over for dinner and ordered Mexican food because the weather was iffy for the pool this year.

I couldn't find my clips one day and then realized Rosie had used them all the make a fort!

Grandma took the littles to a movie! They had a great time. They saw Stitch and came home with posters.

Ice cream sundaes while the big girls were at camp!

Busch Gardens day:

The kids are getting used to their chore charts and learning how to do the dishes.

Eleanor got to go to a friend's birthday party and it was a glow party!

Rosie drew herself when she's mad:

Fun at the pool!

Family Catan - Jane and I won!

We're looking forward to July, with more time in the pool, at the river, and a more relaxed schedule with family and friends!
