July wrap-up

Oh July! A month filled with swimming, heat, thunderstorms, summer schedules, late nights, and fun.

We've started having each kid take a week to pick a meal and make dinner. Eleanor made cajun chicken pasta.

Jane made penne.

Other summer chores include doing dishes!

Ben made spaghetti and meatballs and got very excited about setting the table!

Rosie made carbonara for her second dinner.

We've had a couple Chapel Family Picnics. One time our trivia group tied with several others getting 10/10! We lost in the tie breaker.

The kids got to see their friend perform at Stage Lights.

Jane and Rosie created a fun show for us to attend with a dance and a raffle!

Eleanor has been going to Summer Nights with Student Ministries and came home covered in chalk after color wars. She had a great time!

We got slurpees for 7/11 day.

Chris and I went out to dinner at Cochon for our 17th anniversary.

Ben climbing all over the place with outside church moved inside.

Lots of time with friends!

Lots of snuggle time!

Ben being silly during a birthday video.

Rosie made a beautiful bouquet at a tea party birthday for a friend.

Cousin Jesse, Rachel, and their nephew came to Williamsburg to do Busch Gardens one day!

Rosie got a milkshake because she had to go super far for an appointment.

The month ended with a weekend at the beach, VBS, and the end of swim season (more on these soon) but we are looking forward to a few more weeks off and relaxed schedules prior to school picking back up for another year!
