August wrap-up

August is always a month that has both slow periods and crazy ones! Swim is over so there's no more routine to summer. Chris and I took a trip for a week, Eleanor went on a retreat, school started, Eleanor and I both had birthdays, and Chris went away for a weekend with friends.

We journeyed into the attic (a rare occasion) to investigate a potential leak. The kids were fascinated!

I got a new phone and said goodbye to my trust 13 mini. I loved that phone!

I found a snake in our yard...yikes.

There was lots of time for Water Country with friends.

And plenty of time for Busch Gardens, too!

Ben rode Verbolten for the first time and loved it! He says he "wants to be a roller coaster guy" but he's working up to it because they're so scary.

Rosie decided to wash the car one day!

Ben made a board came after his heart called From Breakfast to Dessert:

We got milkshakes after the ophthalmologist one day.

Hair chalk was a thing...

We thought about Papa Laser on his birthday <3

We spent time at the pool, and shockingly ate dinner there for the first time this summer! I feel like normally this happens all the time but just didn't this year.

Jane let me cut her hair!

We went to the Wicked outdoor sing along on Prince George one night!

Many chess games with Rosie and Eleanor occurred.

Eleanor had a small group hang out where they decorated cookies and had fun together.

I have much more coming from August including back to school and our trip...stay tuned!
