Jane's birthday started out with a shopping trip on the Thursday before her birthday with Grandma! Jane was so excited to pick out some new clothes! She's been wearing them all week :)
Then on Friday, she got picked up from school to go to the W&M field hockey game with friends and then out to Meadows. Despite the team losing 0-9, they still had a great time.
We worked on her cake on Sunday - strawberry with chocolate icing - and then took pictures with our 9 year old girl for the last time before she turned 10!
She woke up bright and early to her birthday string:
And then it was time to go out to breakfast at Chick-fil-A with Chris:
She had her name announced on the school announcements and got to get a treat at lunch time. Then she came home to another gift from Antelope and Uncle Benny! It's a CD player and Taylor Swift CD. When she was describing how excited she was about this to her friends she said, "I got an old-timey record player! And it has unlimited skips!" Ohhhh Gen alpha...
After she saw Uncle Rob, Matty, and Robert who delivered birthday cards and wishes, she headed off to soccer:
