Thanksgiving

This year was the first Thanksgiving we've had all our parents living in town so it was different! We didn't pack up and head out for the second half of the week, but stayed put and saw people during the week. On Wednesday we met my mom and brother and took a walk through Colonial Williamsburg. The colors were beautiful and they were already starting to hang wreaths.

We had a simple dinner at our house that evening. And we did some field goal kicking!

Early in the day we went to a playground to play some tennis and pickleball.

Thursday afternoon we did Thanksgiving dinner at Gaby's house. Jane gave this sweet little frog cat hat she's been working on since we visited New York to Uncle Henry and Auntie Jessie for their cat Georgie!

The kids had a nerf gun fight outside.

We got some sweet cousin time in.

And we recreated this fun stacking picture Chris' cousins do every year. I got completely crushed!

Much cuter when just the littles do it:

We had a delicious dinner!

The whole group:

Friday was quiet and we played a couple games with my brother and sister at my mom's house before she had to leave to get Dave from the airport.

We also got the cousin stacking picture here! I love this fun tradition!

Clearly my kids do, too. How long until Ben transitions to the bottom?

It was a lovely Thanksgiving and now we are making our popcorn garland for Christmas!
