After Biscayne, we headed to Everglades National Park.
We headed to the visitor station...
We stopped at the Pa-Hay-Okee overlook:
We hiked the Mahogany Hammock Trail:
Then we headed to Flamingo to try to see some manatees...unsuccessfully:
Then we headed to another visitor center to pick up a tram tour where we saw our first alligator!
From the tram tour (which was excellent), we continued seeing alligators until we reached almost 100! I think Ben clocked our final number around 98.

We got to stop at the Shark Valley lookout tower:
We wandered the ponds nearby:
We saw lots of birds - herons:
And then we headed to an airboat tour. I had never been on one before, but it was very fun and unique!
After the boat tour we got to hold Rambo (note Chris chose not to participate):
But we did swing by Miami Brewing Company on the way home:
