Friday Field trips - Matoaka Trails and CW

The Friday field trips took a bit of a hiatus during the Thanksgiving holidays. It's getting consistently colder though now so we are desperately trying to get outside as much as possible while it's still "nice." We took a hike/walk on the Matoaka Trails on campus.

The kids walked just over 2.5 miles before we headed over to the Governor's Palace Green to have a picnic lunch.

I am getting a little burnt out on the whole school thing as we prepare for Christmas, but we still plan to keep going for another week or so before taking a break.
