Ice Skating

The girls have been asking to go ice skating a lot recently, so on a last minute whim, we decided to go skate in Colonial Williamsburg two days before Christmas. So much has been different this year so trying something new seemed like a good idea. We were unsure how well or poorly they would do, but they ended up doing fantastically! They had to take a break while the Zamboni cleared the ice and we thought we would leave, but they both wanted to stay. Attitudes were great and we were very impressed with their dedication and progress.

We are so lucky that we are able to ice skate in the middle of our vacation town. It was pretty chilly though and we came home for hot chocolate right after!
