We finally got some snow here in Williamsburg! On Thursday, we woke up to maybe an inch or an inch and a half of snow on the ground. The kids bundled up and headed outside before 8 am. Needless to say we forewent school for the day. We get maybe one decent snow a year, and this one was barely decent but we were excited for it anyway.
Meanwhile, the girls (except for a short lunch break) stayed outside until 5:15 pm. They sure were tired and cold afterward. They definitely were fairly cranky the next day, too. Too much activity!
Ben and Rosie went back out for a little bit to build some castles.
And the girls had a snowball fight. It was a great day!
Then on Sunday it snowed again! We were supposed to get a bit more, but unfortunately it turned to rain, washed away a lot of the snow, and was kind of gross out in the afternoon. It didn't stop us from enjoying it while we could though. We headed over to Jamestown High School to go sledding on the big hill (which was a bit crowded so we moved over to the smaller hill so we wouldn't have to take turns). Eleanor ran into several of her neighborhood friends and had a blast sledding with them. Ben and Rosie both loved sledding!

The snow was magical, even though there wasn't so much. Love all the pics; they're so colorful and happy. Love Rosie's face when she unmolded her castle! And how fun to have a sledding hill so close by!!
Great pictures of the kids! A very nice snow day...can't believe the girls were out all day long! Love those sledding videos before church:)
