SB2W

Eleanor and Jane went to sleepaway camp for the first time this year! They went to Summer's Best Two Weeks at the Que. And they loved it! It was a long drive up there.

The girls were definitely nervous, but excited.

We explored camp before dropping them off.

Goodbye girls, see you in two weeks!

The cabins were pretty rustic.

I had written them letters to keep them company!

Then we scoured their (very sparse) instagram to see what team the girls were assigned to. The were Romans - and they were so excited!

Sooner than we could believe, it was time to pick them up.

They did camp awards: Jane's cabin 1, with her counselors Abby and Liv.

Eleanor's cabin 3:

Then it was full camp awards and Eleanor earned her overall small "S"! She was also camp champ for pickleball, 2nd in 25 yard breaststroke, 1st for canoe doubles and 2nd for canoe ins & outs, 2nd for long jump, 3rd for 100 yard dash, and she earned her Bible certificate.

Jane ended up being camp champ for frisbee golf, 1st in 50 yard freestyle, 3rd in high jump, 2nd in canoe ins & outs, and earned her craft and nature ribbons.

We went straight back to Grandma's to a lovely welcome!

The girls were able to get some good family time and relaxation by the pool in before it was time to head back to Williamsburg after our long journeys. These trips were the longest period of time we've been away from home since we moved to Williamsburg years ago! It was busy but so worth it!

I thought I had responded to this! I'm so proud of the girls and so grateful that they had such a wonderful time. Sounds like they did a fabulous job!!
