This year was Jane's last field day in elementary school! As such, she got to do both sessions - once as a buddy for a Kindergartener and once just with her peers. She requested a child from her Kindergarten safety patrol class and she got him!

After field day, I hopped in the car and headed up to D.C. Chris had been working in D.C. that week, so I went up to meet him for the night. The team was going to the Nats game.
After the game there was a Taio Cruz concert.
And then from there we headed with his colleagues to Bar Taco. Then back to the hotel and back home first thing in the morning!
It was a quick trip with lots of traffic, but still fun to get away!
