Well, I have had two very long days in a row and I'm exhausted. Mentally, physically, everything. To cap my day off today, it took me 2 hours and 10 minutes to drive the approximately 16-17 miles home from work. Which is completely ridiculous. Anyway, on the bright side of things, this post forces me to think of the good things of my days. So that being said, today I'm thankful for my wonderful husband who made me a delicious dinner tonight and did all the dishes while I sat in traffic. It really did make my day a lot better :)

What a great husband! Today I am thankful for our dog Barkley - she just came back home today after being with friends for 6 months. I am thankful for our friends too, who were willing to take her while we lived in an apartment.
I am thankful for my beautiful wife and that we'll get to spend the holidays with both of our families.
I am thankful that I got the lights up and when I drove home from work tonight it looked like Christmas time had come at our house!
Sean's plane landed and took off safely in the snowy, icy Chicago airport yesterday!
