My least favorite part of taking down Christmas decorations was pulling all the Christmas cards off the walls in the hallway and putting them away. I loved all the happy Christmas-y scenes and pictures of you all from this year.
Of course, the very last thing to go was the tree. We (meaning Chris) dragged the naked tree outside and propped it up against our fence next to the trashcans to wait for the garbage men.
While I'm sad to see it all go, I think we're celebrating the end of Christmas in style. We're eating a nice warm meal tonight and watching the very last Christmas movie of the season. This is after we vacuum up all the pine needles, of course :) Plus, saying goodbye to Christmas is the first step in waiting for spring and summer to come!

AMEN Katie... Now I want spring tomorrow... It's too cold outside!!!
I am glad to have my house back to normal again, too. Can't say that I can complain about winter, though, since we're hovering around 70-80's daytime. But our nights are downright chilly!. . . 45 degrees! ;)
what christmas movie?
Four Christmases - it was pretty funny
