Fondue

For Christmas this year Chris and I got a fondue pot from his parents. Last weekend we had almost an entire evening ahead of us, so we decided to put it to good use. We did dinner in the fondue pot!

It takes a bit of time to cook your food this way, but it was a lot of fun!

We tried to cover all our bases by getting some veggies in there along with the meat (and shrimp for Chris).

I think we'll try chocolate fondue next :)

That looks awesome! Love the plate with all the little trays. Did your broth get hot enough on the high setting (that's why I decided on electric)? So glad you enjoyed.

I love that tray! How awesome is that? What a great array of choices you have there! Looks so yummy! Fondue is a great way to entertain too, with some nice sauces to choose from on the side.

We had a cheese fondue this past weekend, that Mike and Andi put together with some cibatta bread... it was amazing! Unfortunately, I couldn't find my Fondue pot and we had to use a double boil pot, but it worked out great and was delicious!

I'm glad you enjoyed yours!

Hi! My mom told me she had met you at the game. That is too funny! Definitely look me up if you are back in Germany anytime soon -- I'm figuring on being here through the fall at the very least. And if you're coming to Austin's wedding, I will almost certainly see you there!
