Now that I've sufficiently interested you all in visiting my grandparents in Texas, I'll mention one of the best parts! Every time the grandchildren come to visit my Opa opens up the Ice Cream Parlor. He pulls out all the stops, takes orders, and provides us with either a sundae or a float.
Since I'm not a big fan of soda, I always go with a sundae. It seems like lots prefer the float option though.
We never have all these toppings at home so it's a real treat :)
